For Seniors
This year’s state budget was a great mix of record tax cuts for the middle class with planning for our future by controlling costs through paying down our pension debt. Our current State Senator voted against this as he looked to fund more tax cuts now entirely with more debt for later.
An important part of these tax cuts passed by Governor Lamont and the leadership in Hartford was tax cuts for retirees in Connecticut. As your State Senator, I will push for smart budgets that take care of our seniors and families now and into the future. You can find more details on the retiree tax cuts here:
