Local Roots

Christopher Green was born and raised in Berlin, Connecticut. He moved into his house in Stratford with his wife, Amanda, in 2018. They were proud to welcome their first child, Francesca, earlier this year.

Chris specifically enjoys running around town (and is currently serving as a member of the Greenway Committee), shooting hoops at Riverview Park in Shelton, volunteering for Sterling House's Food Pantry, and attending Blues on the Beach. He is an active member of the Stratford Democratic Town Committee and was treasurer for all 10 town council candidates in the November 2021 election.

A Businessman & Educator

A graduate of Harvard University, Chris began his career as a middle school math teacher. He then shifted to working for an educational enrichment company, where he has served as principal and regional manager in Connecticut for the last eight years. In this role, he launched two after-school math learning centers located in Wethersfield and Stamford. Leading a team of over 30 teachers, he created a growing and profitable business that delivers a world-class education to over 2,000 local students each week.

Running for You

Chris is excited to apply his extensive knowledge and experience with team- building, fiscal management, and analytical problem solving toward the broader public good.

While this is Chris' first time running for office, he's been running competitively his entire life: Chris was part of Harvard’s track team and won the Bay State Half Marathon in 2011. He is eager to apply the same discipline, determination and grit to push for a better tomorrow for all of Connecticut's residents.
